An actual happy birthday

After stressing and fretting about turning forty, I ended up having a pretty good, if very low-key birthday. Nothing earth-shaking or grand, just home-made tacos and a marathon of the original "Star Wars" trilogy (my son mentioned that he hadn't seen it since he was 5 or 6 and couldn't remember any of it...all we could find was the Special Editions, but it was better than nothing), followed by a trip to the closest city (90 minutes into another state) for the only showing of "Pacific Rim" in the area, which he LOVED...we didn't get back here until almost 1am, though, so he's still out like a light.
Also, for those who were concerned (like me), I also finally got my grades for the "Intro to Psychology" class as well, and despite my worries I managed to maintain my "A" average after all.
So, all in all, it was the first actually happy birthday I've had in years.

But I do have to ask- what did YOU think of Pacific Rim?
Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
and as for hitting 40....it's just another day, keep on rollin'
