Stuff and Drawing!

My life lately: trying to get into JET program, grad school, write a book, blogging a lot, self discovery adventures, and building what's getting to be the most serious relationship of my life (the kind where we seriously talk sometimes about omg teh M word) with 
Things are a little busy and hectic. I'm still drawing. Actually, my drawing has improved overall, by what I consider a great deal. Still frustratingly not-close to where I want to be, but getting good enough where I am able to do things I want more often and am pleased with my work as often as not. My boyfriend being a drawing instructor and thus having a lot of great advice and encouragement to offer has been a big help with that.
It's not that I don't miss hanging out on art sites. And I loved and have missed the friendliness of the people I have talked to here on FA. I just have a harder time keeping up now, and a harder time posting. My mom's comp is the only one with internet, so it's harder to scan things, which means ultimately harder to upload them, and no tablet so no alterations, just shitty scans... no fun! Plus I really don't want to even TRY to explain this site to my parents, so I only get on after they go to bed. ;)
But I do come around on occasion. And I am trying to upload a few more things. Maybe at some point I can bum some scanner time from MOA's house.
Moving back in with the folks, especially with all your stuff in storage, is kind of rough. I mean, overall, life is great, and this is necessary for the moment, but I sure will be glad to have my own space, my own stuff, and unfettered 'net access again.
