Fusion lookalike? owo just because it also plays in a space station and that some bosses also are there? And how should the encrypting have happened? Would that have been an aggressive action against samus to encrypt her powers, at least she also had the option to turn them on when needed that way, yeah it is not the best version to have her powers locked but at least it had a reason, I always wondered how her complete powers could get lost just by some explosion and electricity in Metroid Prime, that also didn´t make much sense, as she gets hit by explosion and electricity in every game <w<

I call it a lookalike because you have a game with a space station with almost the exact same function as Biologic Space Labs that turns out to have almost the exact same plot twist as Fusion (i.e., the weaponizing Metroids and creatures bit), right down to the Federation trying to force you to stand down to cover their asses.

As for the encryption bit, though, the whole Deleter subplot could have covered it, since it was inherently sanctioned by the darker bits of the Federation; double agent slips a virus or something into the second or third map/save room, and you have a plausible way to still have unlocks while still doing the Prime thing where you at least start off with your powers.

Yes, but I have yet to see an X Parasite in that Lab, so the villains in other m are only the federation and suh shit. Bioweapons are a main theme of the metroid games and I think almost every game mentions some <w< Still, despite the story being that similiar, I think it is very different from Other M, but to each their own I guess~

They didn´t even expect that Samus also comes to that station, the deleter couldn´t have known beforehand and I think it is not that easy to hack and encrypt the Powersuit. Because if that would that easily possible, then the Space Pirates would have tried it often enough >w>

There's actually an enemy in Echoes that uploads a program to crash your suit as an attack. XD

I know, but it crashes it for a short while and not encrypts your suit <w< And, that thing is a living computer virus, developed by a race far ahead of the federation <w<

I played only the Prime series and The Other M, I loved every moment of it.
The game play always had me on my toes and when it came down to figuring out how to get to certain areas, that part always frustrated me to no end.
The challenges you get to try to unlock, I always avoided the 'Beat within these many hours" That meant bypassing certain missiles and health power ups just to beat it.
All in all, I still love the games no matter what anyone says. First person shooter, fighting all kinda of monsters and the powerful bosses, like Ridley. It always makes it worth it.

Didn´t play through it as of yet xD I played it a little but I died so much that I couldn´t get any further |D But it is also very great it was the first and because of that the stone which all others are build on x3

Of course. Played through it multiple times, easily one of my favourite Metroid Games.
