Not surprised. DA is getting real bitchy about censorship. They even pulled this old crap off my DA page http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1587083/ and it was also my most popular work .

Well, they get really itchy about stuff that can be compared to pornography, and that's cutting it pretty close. =P

It got pulled cause it's too sexual and pornographic in nature. It doesn't mean you're popular, cause I've had two things pulled in the past and I've only got like 300 watchers there xP

I know, but it was up for 7 months before it got pulled :P And I got about 1500 watchers there and no one had complained.

Someone could have just found it by searching for specific pics and reported it because they understand the rules and policy. A fan isn't going to do it cause most of them are kissasses

They're on a HUGE 'this can be percieved as anthro and is mildly sexualized so LET'S DELETE' kick.

I upload alot of full anthro art and somewhat sexual work, it's when it gets more pornographic that removals and bans are handed out. At least understand the rules before accusing admins of being on an "it's anthro and too sexy, let's delete it" run.

I understand this, but they're broadening the definition of sexual a bit much recently. This doesn't necessarily apply to this single image.. but still.

They still don't allow obviously pornographic images, or erections, in art on DA. :P

Once again, that isn't true. I've uploaded alot of sexually charged work, and I've seen alot of "erotic" art. But when you step over the boundary between "erotic" and "pornographic" is when things go bad. There's a reason why pornographic work isn't allowed which most people seem to forget. Alot of children use DA, preteens, and sometimes younger. They don't have an age filter like FA does, or an age verification system. So rather than lose alot of people or get sued by some uptight parents, they are being careful of what's posted.

There is a filter... though not necessarily age verification. I'm honestly only being about 45% serious in most of these commetns, though.

Yeah, so they don't have a way of verifying that it isn't children having their filters turned on to allow mature work.

Huzzah for having a sense of humor, I just too often see people whining about DA's staff when it's their own fault for breaking the rules.

Yeah, I got banned for a couple of Works I re-posted, but the second time had a larger warning...they're just being stubborn.

I guess because nothing is seen and noting graphic is happening, but thats just me I suppose. I guess it also doesnt help that Kokido told me he mostly did this for fun and not as something to be erotic.

You can see a tentacle going into her underwear, pretty sure anyone could tell what the tentacle is doing.

Even if the artist's intentions were not to be pornographic, other viewers would view it that way. We all know how sick and depraved some furries are lol

yeah, DA gets bitchy about anything... and worse... they don't do a sh*t about the bad critics and whiners... you ask for help and they kick you...

no just means that DA is full of stuck up art critics, who think they can censor anything, which is why i don't post there often

I came here because of DA's censorship. I had a week where stuff of mine was going daily...clothed but "sexual" puh lease....so I quit posting for a week and someone pointed me here. Not really my "style" but this place is growing on me. I still post at DA but if I want to post without fear I do it here and at Renderotica. I won't even speak of Renderosity...bastards that they are.
