IFC ROCKED!!! THANK YOU!!!
All the weeks, days, hours of preparation for our first full hour punk rock concert were well worth it! The FPRM show at IFC was a SUCCESS!!!
Not only did we (more or less) make it through all the songs (all but one), but the CROWD WAS AWESOME! There was a fuckload of dancing, moving and MOSHING, even an encore request (WOW)! And as long as you guys are entertained and had fun, then we've succeeded!
Also, the band was able to raise about $90 to give to the IFC charity through 2 FPRM item auctions and from selling buttons and stickers. So there's that!
All in all, though it was extremely tough to manage getting 4 guys to a con in Indiana (coming from as far as Florida) and while moths currently inhabit all of our wallets and pockets (aka WE BROKE ASS BITCHES)...AND we had to learn 21 songs in two months (with varying degrees of success), we are very happy and HONORED to have gotten the opportunity to be a featured performance at such a rad convention! Many of the staff members for the con BUSTED THEIR ASSES to afford us the chance to get up there and put on a good show for you guys, and we're stoked it was able to happen! And even more stoked that you all enjoyed it!
Special shoutouts to
pandez

speed_wolfy, the guys that helped the most in making this happen! You all rock in individually awesome ways!
We'd be happy to entertain the idea of playing there again! I think this was a learning experience in a lot of ways for all of us, so next time we should be a little bit more prepared for such an endeavor (although admit it, being a touring band in any sense is a lot of hassle and headache... but it's WORTH IT!)
There WILL be video of the performance uploaded to the FPRM YOUTUBE and of course, links posted on the FPRM TWITTER (and here as well) so keep a lookout! We're still trying to collect everything to edit, but when we do, we'll let you all know!
And of course, if anyone out there has pictures or videos that they (or someone they know) took, please let us know! More pictures = more AWESOME!
