Nintendo's newest and unnecesary console: Nintendo 2DS
12 years ago
Yes. Nintendo announced just yesterday about their newest and really dumb console, the Nintendo 2DS. Believe me when I tell you this: it looks like a freaking piece of brick (by not saying the "s" word) and the worst part is that it doesn't have 3D. And here I thought the WiiU game pad/controller was an exaggeration from Nintendo. Looks like I was wrong.
Basically, is a Nintendo DS that plays Nintendo 3DS games without the 3D! How smart is that?!
*In the words of The Miz* Really? Really? Really? Really? Really?
No. Seriously. I'm a big fan of Nintendo myself, but Nintendo has stood so f'ing low on this one. And this ain't the first time. First it was the Virtual Boy console and goggles, and now this. Nintendo needs new and original ideas for all I know. I do not want Nintendo to be the next Atari. Nintendo is one of the few game companies that I like in this World, and I don't want it to die.
Who knows? Maybe Nintendo didn't focus on the 3D slider functionality, or enforce the "only children 6 (or 7) years or older can view the games in 3D, using the 3D slider" rule.
There are some pros to this console though. Aside from having the same features as the Nintendo 3DS (excluding the 3D function), is gonna be at a reasonable price once it hits the same day Pokemon X and Y also hit the stores in October.
