I don't want to stir the pot. It just sucks that we are losing this convention, regardless of what happened.

I wouldn't go that far, as I've never had a problem with Gir or the con... but I do think the reason it's ending is that it's Gir's con, and Gir doesn't want to do it anymore, and he'd rather discontinue it than step down as chairman. He's been less and less involved with the community in the last couple years. At one point he almost got rid of the MiFur forums, and his Ann Arbor meets are long over.

Io and I are both sad to hear that it's over. We went for the first time at Ghimno's persuasion this past year and we're glad we did as we had a lot of fun. (Also helped that it was over my birthday weekend, so I got to celebrate at a fur con. ^.-.^)

awesome. I don't know but I'm looking into possibly going to morphicon next year. Since my sister lives six minutes from the hotel space.
