Edited to change sculpting material.
My ToS is subject to change at any time. It is your responsibility to read and remain aware of the changes.
Before commissioning me you are required to read my terms of service. I am not held responsible for any misunderstandings you may have about product materials, shipping rules or damaged goods.
I reserve the right to deny any commission for any reason I deem fit.
How I Work
Upon commissioning me, I request everything I need to know be provided in a note or email. I am not responsible for any details left out by the commissioner. I will then provide a photo of a rough sculpt to make sure we agree on the position/anatomy. If anything at that time has been left out or needs to be altered, I will make the needed changes. I will not change the entire sculpture unless I got it wrong. If the commissioner changes their mind about what they want after I have roughly sculpted it out, I am not going to change it unless it is reasonable. Once the artwork progresses past that stage, positions and details will not be altered any further. Once the artwork is complete, there will be NO changes to it unless I am the one at fault.
So try to not leave out any details! One or two detail tweaks are fine if they were forgotten in the initial communication, but please remember I have other commissions as well as yours and having everything I need to know up front works best and helps everything go faster.
If the commissioner insists on being unreasonable with their requests or demands I hold every right to drop the commission.
Materials Used
All of my sculptures are made with wire armatures or "skeletons" with foil and clay over it. I use CosClay. It is a polymer based clay that allows the sculpture to remain flexible even once it's completed, greatly reducing any chance of it breaking when being handled, dropped or shipped. I paint with water based acrylics. Due to mixing my own paint, colors may not line up 100% with the character, but I do my best to get as close to it as possible. Once the sculpture is painted, I use a clear matte varnish to protect the paint.
Damage Responsibility
I only sculpt and paint the sculptures, once the product is shipped, it is out of my hands. Therefore, I am not responsible for any damage or loss that may be caused by the postal service. I offer a delivery confirmation number as proof that I have sent the item, I insure it as well upon request. I am not responsible for any package that does not arrive. By commissioning me, you understand my sculptures are not toys and can break if handled as a toy or too roughly. I am not responsible for any chips or breaks your sculpture receives from anything that happens to it while it is out of my custody.
Refunds
I offer full refunds if I cannot, for unseen reasons, complete the commissioned piece.
I am not responsible if the commissioned piece takes longer than the time I estimated due to the commissioner not paying or being difficult. That does not warrant a refund.
-Requested Refunds-
The amount of the requested refund depends heavily upon how much work I have already done and what has already been paid.
If the sculpture has not been started, a full refund, or the full price of what has been deposited, may be provided.
A full refund, or the full price of what has been deposited, minus $15 will be given if the sculpture is under 25% complete.
If the sculpture is over 25% complete the commissioner will receive half of the commissioned price, unless half of the commissioned price has not already been paid, if so, there will be no refund.
If the sculpture is over 50% complete, there will be no refund.
