On Sept 2, I had to put down the best cat in this whole wide FUCKING WORLD! ;;
As of this Labor Day Weekend, Jackson has crossed over the rainbow bridge. He had a mass on his kidneys and he was so old that, it would....sorry, I am crying as I write this. He was so old he wouldn't have lasted through the surgery, and even if he did it would have been so painful. So the humane thing to do was to put him to rest. Even in his last moments he was purring to tell my husband and I that it, he and everything would be ok.
Thats just the type of cat...no, he was a person. I am not just saying it like a crazy cat lady. This little man touched the heart and souls of all who came across him. He would bring smiles to all, even to my worst enemies. Thats just how he was. He didn't take sides, he just loved everyone and wanted to just be by your side. Thats all he asked for.
Jackson, I love you. I am sorry I couldn't do more to keep you with us forever. I am not mad that you didn't keep your promise to me, to live forever. I am just sad because there is just a huge hole in my heart. Please know that I love you. I have to stop writing, my eyes and heartache.
