So today was the last meet ever for me 'cause of me being a senior and all, and this was the dress up/costume meet. so i bought a cop costume last night and brought it to school today. when it came time to get ready for the races, i pulled out the costume but because of all the negative comments about it, i decided not to wear it. Anyway, i decided that i would run hard today, lol i mean harder. The first mile, of the 1.82 mile race, i got 6:05. For those who don't know, I'm not much of a long distance runner, so this was fast for me. Neway, i finish somewhere between 10:19-10:29. And what i'm most excited about is that i finally, in my last year got a ribbon. w00t! i got 10th :) it only took me till my last year to get an award of any sort for running!
