My childhood in three videos
Bob Ross inspired me to be creative. I may not be able to do art, but I he inspired me in other areas.
Reading Rainbow inspired me to read, love books, and also inspired me to love to write.
And last but certainly and by far not least is Mr. Rogers. He inspired me to love and tolerate others even in a world of hate. He taught me everything I needed to know as a child. Besides my grandfather, he was like a father to me because I didn't have one. This was my favorite show as a child and just to hear this song brings a tear to my eye.
Yup, that's my childhood. Kids today may see the re-runs but I was there when they had original episodes. I can truly say I grew up with these people and I am proud to say that I did.
This was brought up because my son is watching a show called Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood and it is a show that follows Rogers' legacy in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe starring the son of Daniel Striped Tiger's son.

Thank you so much for sharing this Isa. I grew up with them too and some others. Always wanted to see how I would do with a paint brush but never had the chance. The show that got me was New Yankee workshop. Thanks to it, I learned how to build almost anything, the importance of planning and structure. Kids now a days just don't know what they are missing.
