I'm back!

They took a Wolf out of the wild and expected it to be domesticated. Once the wolf attacked they put it in a cage to rehabilitate it. Believing the wolf was tamed they released it into society once more. The wolf's dreams of the wild never ceased. This won't end well for the wolf.
Adventure breaking our backs,
we could take the pain inflicted under the their last breaths.
In the moment,
we did what the unforgiving beast asked with eyes forced open to reality.
What was real was a drowning glow long forgotten,
What was lost was the song ever lasting.
Pain was an inconvenience, yet a privilege we took for granted.
The adventure stung, consuming our minds and poisoning our thoughts forever.
Never will anything compare, our grit, our gain, our loss, our worth.
Now in the reality where our adventures are not real,
Normalcy bares it's brittle teeth into our throats, smothering us, torturing us, the creature never giving into its poor posture.
The creature never paying mind to its surroundings.
When it's over the adventure is all we remember, not the starvation of our dreams or the fulfillment of our despairs.
