Most of the replies I've gotten so far have made me quite sad-faced. Such is the nature of life many of them say, but I've always defied the odds (If only with the little things), so maybe this situation WON'T fit in with the statistics? I can only hope.....and be a better boyfriend.

yes going off to war can be stressing but thats the test if she stays then she is the one for you. yet if not then there is one for you still out there and she would be better than one. so on.
