As I look into the stary night sky
I wonder when I will die
When I will return to the night
At the end, of this one long fight
The fight to stay sane
Through tears, and even pain


Help me sift through the sand
Please, take me by the hand
Guide me to where I need to be
That is what I ask, from you to me


Now, this may seem an odd request
But, with your help, I will do my best
My best to make a difference to everyone
Or at least, to be heard by anyone
All I ask is that you be there
Be that one person, to truly care


Be the one, in which I can confide
From which secrets, I do not hide
Be the one, to be guiding me
Even when I cannot see

Be my light, that never dims
Be the one to grant my whims
Be the carpet on which I fly
Teach me, to never cry


At the end of this journey, all I see
Is the one thing, that matters most to me
It may not be much, it may not glisten
But all I want, is someone to listen

Hear my cry, hear my roar
I will never hit the floor
I will never give up, you will see
All I ask, is that you help me
