Though there is thousands of designs to use and it's a rare case to find two designs the same as a coincidence, and may be in different colours. However, it's hard to see if it is a coincidence or not, due to amount of art thefts on the internet. Though I see children do this between the age of 10-15, but you do get the older lot, who I find that they do not understand plagiarism correctly and will try every trick on the book to get what they want.

So, basically the more people know about this dude/dudette that he/she likes to take people's characters and their designs, the more he/she is going to be anxious about it and maybe understand what she/he has done wrong.

But at the end of the day, that person needs to learn that being original is through the person's imagination, which creates creativity. Taking someone else's work because they like the design just throws creativity out of the window all together. Not original at all and it claims under plagiarism. Something that every person learns if they decide to go into a course on art.

I had this one forum sig I made as a tribute piece to my favorite female wrestler, A year or two later I'm browsing Youtube and looking for music, my sig is used in the video. I got no credit for it except my name being on the sig, I complained and complained until the asshole listened and he pretty much said he'd take it down if I stopped whining and bitch. Then I let him have it, why? Because he didn't ask for my permission to use the signature.
