Well, apparently another Con is Dead.
2 Midwest Cons in the same Month have called it quits.
First, FCN, now Furlax.
Furlax ConChair says Con is over, no convention next year. This comes as a shock to some and completed not a surprise to others.

The Con Chair was asked to step down gracefully due to the reputation that he has that has tainted the con. But instead, he decided to cancel the convention and terminate its existence.

That will take Columbus OH back to just 1 Furry Convention, Morphicon.
This is a BIG town with a lot of room for Cons It is the PERFECT venue for a convention such as Anthrocon to move to. More open restaurants, more hotel space attached to the convention center, easier highway access to and from the airport, and it has a night life area in that area. Something AC should consider doing.
