ANOTHER update journal! +sewing machine help????????

I'll still update everyone's progress on the other one.
My sewing machine AND serger are both crapping out on me. The serger's ok, it just keeps coming unthreaded & being really annoying. My sewing machine, however, is stuck. The feed dogs try to move the fabric (they aren't lowered or broken, they seem to be moving the fabric back & forth maybe? Or whatever has it stuck is more powerful than they are), but it just sews in place. I can pull stuff thru it, but the stitches are all uneven. It feels like something is stuck when I pull stuff thru, & it comes & goes. It'll sew fine for like an inch & then go back to stitching in place. I've rethreaded everything, cleaned everything out, changed needles, changed every possible setting, nothing so far has helped. If anyone could help me fix it, that would be a w e s o m e cause I can't hand-sew a whole bodysuit & wings before RF.
That being said!
Anything not being sold or picked up at Rainfurrest is going on the backburner until I get this straightened out. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not ask me how your commission is coming if its not something being picked up at RF. I will update you ASAP when I work on it.

try changing it to a slightly different setting?
what brand do you have?

But if you plan on buying something new, get a Singer. Brother machins have all plastic parts and break all the time. i would know XDD
