Really just for looks I guess. I figured, he's already a cat-human-thing, I guess I don't have to make him exactly like me anymore. xD
And girls are more or less objectively prettier than guys. :P

Plus though I tend to think of my character(s) more like the way I think of my characters in an MMORPG or other such video game; I have a "main" and several "alts", and my current "main" happens to be female. I wouldn't really say she's a representation of my personality or whatever (how exactly does one go about making a character that looks like a personality anyway?).

Long story short: I like the way she looks. XD

And plus I'm sure you've noticed I'm not exactly the most macho man out there (despite being completely straight xD)
