sorry about delays, and RIP Ceasar

I didn't have internet for a week before yesterday, so I'm only just seeing everybody's comments and stuff. The internet at our apartment randomly cut out for like 3 days, then my girlfriend and I drove up to wisconsin for a family reunion, then down to indianapolis for a friend's wedding.
My dog Ceasar also died on friday. He was 13 years old when he died, which is a damn good age for a German Shepherd, but the way the news was broken to me was a bit upsetting, and my mom didn't tell me until I got back from the wedding yesterday. I got to see him last week at least, but it was still kind of a shock. My parents house is so horribly empty now, since our other dog Amber died a couple of years back, and my parents are divorcing so they don't want to get another dog until that's all settled. Both of my brothers are really depressed about it. I am too but I guess I don't really know how to process it.
anyway! Dealing with the road trip, Caesar's death, and general art block really set me back, but I'm doing my best to get my butt back in gear to work on commissions and stuff. As always, if anyone has any questions, please feel free to send me a note at any time. <3

On a totally unrelated note, what have you guys been listening to lately? I need me some new music, so any reqs would be fantastic \o/

As for what I'm listening to...gosh...I've taken a liking to the Japanese musician Kyary Pamyu Pamyu...
Kaskade and Blackmill are both good techno/house/trance/whatever the fug genre they are ''8D

As for things to listen to that is not a podcast (Nightvale, heheh), I've been listening to a lot of random Vocaloid things. When it comes to bands, it's been Steam Powered Giraffe and Studio Killers mostly.
As for music recs.... I have Phoenix, Bright Eyes, and Twenty One Pilots if any of those are to your fancy : >

As far as music goes, I've been digging through my older stuff, and reconnecting w/ older Foo Fighters, The Living End, Manu Chao, and various soundtracks: Snatch, Ocean's Eleven, Fight Club, Ghost in the Shell, and Cowboy Bebop. The soundtracks in particular are good to work to, imho. Feel better dude.
And, also, as someone with divorced parents, I understand how it's upsetting and at the same time sort of numbly shocking to go through. I hope it goes smoothly, I guess is the best I can wish for you there.
