How come my FA thumbnails are black?

I probably did something wrong because the thumbnails for the last two pictures I put up are black rectangles. I've tried to put new ones up but they aren't taking. I'd hate to have to re-upload the pictures, does anyone know how to fix it?
Instead of a full re-submit, you can go to the edit page and re-upload. There's a function for "recreate thumbnail" or something like that I believe is a default.
