World War II question: Luxembourg's icon

As title said it. I'm preaparing for The Battle of France campaign saga.
France along with the Low Countries: Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg, fought against The Third Reich with The Allies.
Belgium's icon gonna be a belgian malinois.
Netherlands's icon gonna be a cow.

What Luxembourg's icon would be? My own idea would be a little lion ( reminds bit Napoleon. ) a mouse. ( being the little nation. ) A fox. ( no reason. )

A lion is probadly the best icon for Luxembourg

But there was already a lion in the series. And a lion is usually a leader character, who has power to rule. To look at Luxembourg's size, it can be bit silly to see a lion commanding around, when Luxembourg's military wasn't quite big. ^^;

I vote for Mouse, not because of size but more for variety; since you already have lion and fox characters.

A simpler lion for Belgium could suffice also, as it is the nation's national animal. Not to mention in WWI, Belgium did own a good portion of Africa via the Congo. For Luxembourg the Goldcrest would be a good option. It is a small bird, but very strong willed and beautiful like the country itself is.

Looking at the options here, Mouse seems like the best course of action, they are the most populated mammals in the area and variety would be key as we already have a lion character. Also is the character gonna be a male or female?

I would say ermine as well, but it would be more for a northern country.

Although the lion is the national animal of Luxembourg (it also is for alot of other countries!). A mouse is different, and definitely unique! (And cute) ^_^
