Nah. FA is a "no fascist allowed " site . However theyll still allow all sorts of pro communist and socialist views on the site. Because despite FA preaching for a no fascist website they sure do love fascism if it caters to a certain red flag waving sort.

I think it's more of a "broad strokes" approach. They're likely not allowing any symbolism, because if they did, someone would attempt to use it as a loophole. Instead of having to sort through all claims, they're just saying no to everything.

It doesn't, but their new change isn't about "promotion" any more, it's outright the symbol is gone. According to the new rules, they can't be mocked, they can't be attacked, they can't have anything done to them if they can be distinguished as nazis.

Some people will get favoritism, but this sort of draconian handling is reaching a point FA is almost defending nazis with their rules more than they're defending others from nazis.

Believe me, I've said a similar thing about every type of censorship there is nowadays. Nudity, swearing, sex... I mean, there's kids as young as 9 getting knocked up in my country, my school year 50% of the girls were before they were 16, but people still think by blinding people to reality it'll save their souls and they'll grow up "good christians", as the old saying goes. But closing your eyes to death doesn't make it disappear, you know? It's such a childish way of handling bad things, "it doesn't exist if we pretend it doesn't!".

The more people distort reality by hiding it, the more damage they do. One of these days, we'll be right back to square one. You know, I too hate Nazism as most people do. In fact, I had a grandfather that fought against real-life Nazis during WWII. The Nazis were terrible due to their racism, their acts of torture and genocide, and their dictatorship, similar to Communism. They started a destructive war a left a brutal mark on much of the world. I understand, I understand; they don't deserved to be celebrated nor praised in any shape or form, including art or the like.

However, what Furaffinity and Woke cultists does not understand is it is OK for modern artist and writers to depict Nazis and anything related to them and their evil ideals as long as you vilify them or mock them, as you should. As I said before, I hate Nazism and I understand how evil it was. But I don't get too worried about with seeing Nazis, swastikas or whatever in pictures, movies, cartoons, becasue they have no power over me due to my sense of values, the truth I know about history, my sense of justice, humanity, my anti-tyranny views, anti-racism... you get the point. I'm not a baby. I am a man that know right and wrong, which Adolf Hitler and his follows never had the opportunity to learn. I do not worry about Nazis since they don't exist anymore. It would extremely be better if the media, fiction or non-fiction, show the Nazis and Hilter as the real life villians that they were, much like certain serious WWII dramas like the movie "Schindler's List". Also Nazism has been mocked and villified in animated propaganda during WWII from Warner Brothers and Disney. It's OK as long as our media can educate us about how bad the Nazis were, not good. Contrary to what FA seems to think, looking at a swastika or a cartoon Nazi isn't going to magically zap convert you into a Nazi nor a racist. Also making a cartoon or comic about Nazism, Hitler, swastikas, or the like does not necessary mean you are a Nazi nor supportive of Nazism or racism. Especially if your work is Anti-Nazi and Anti-Hitler to begin with.

You need to look deep into the context and meaning of the image, story or saying before you make a final judgement on if. As a citizen of the United States, where we had over 2 centuries of free speech, I am gravely concerned of censoring stuff in order to please and coddle a small group of folks who have no mature sense of context, history, art nor common sense. It is wrong and immoral. It leads to the slowdown and devolving of creativity, expression, happiness, sense of culture, open debate, the frank teachings of the truth, history, science, religion and so on. Ironically, the real-life Nazis themselves censored things they considered bad and offensive themselves, as well as Communists did and still do today.

Pardon my long rant, I had a lot of thoughts to get off of my chest.

That's just plain nuts. 2.12 is being used to treat quality comedy art like his like a whipping boy. It needs to be legally challenged in a US superior court as breach in the constitutional rights of the artist.
