There are a couple of places with pretty decent free furry avatars. You can use that as a base and then fiddle with it to customise it a bit.

Use the shop search thing... Sorry, I didn't play SL for that long so I'm a bit vague. :P

Argh, I wish I could give you tips!! Unfortunately, I know very little about SL. e_e But I -do- think you could make a really awesome version of your character in there..

Yeah, I hope so :) The AnthroXtacy stuff looks really good but costs a bit of money, and I have yet to spend any real money on it. We'll see.

Run a search for "Furry" in the game.

And then look for the place "Furpleasure and Moore park", I believe the name is somewhere along those lines. On the avenue across from the club is a freebie store where you can get a package of FREE furry avatars, that are quality, and I believe moddable.
