Could you be suffering from seasonal depression (SAD)? I know I've felt a bit blue this past week and this weekend.
In an unrelated discussion with some doctor friends they suggested light therapy does work to cure it (and the Mayo Clinic agrees so there's some legitimate backing). Supposedly exposing yourself to certain frequencies of light (blue-ish range) can help. Thus far I'm looking into the philip's units and this one which seems to be the cheapest.. but I'm not sure if it really works or is just marketing... http://www.doctorled.com/SAD/index.htm
While I am not questioning the efficacy of such lights, I DO question their criminally-high pricetags. LEDs are so fucking cheap to produce, no matter how you slice it. That product should cost about $3 retail, not $30.
Oh, it's probably worth mentioning the FDA doesn't seem to have sided one way or the other on these yet. It does seem a little too easy to solve the problem, doesn't it?
dont worry man, weve all had our share, you cant have dark without bright n all.... but if ya ever need someone to talk to, i may be a stranger, but that doesnt make me a bad person =3
It's really strange. I keep seeing this in my feed. All these journals from artists I revere, about how life has got them down. It likes to do that. I don't know why I'm floating on 'cloud 9'. I don't have half the talent anyone on this site possesses in their 'Enter key'. I found your art a long time ago, and while it was weird, I really loved it. It was cutesy, and it cheered me up.
I don't like seeing people down, but it's a part of life. You are a great artists, and something tells me your a good person too. Just remember to live your life. Don't ever regret anything, life's too short to let you see the end of it. Be brave, be strong, and be bold. You are one of my favorite artists, and kind of an idol. :3
Sometimes there is no reason!
And not knowing why just means that there's more reason for you to take care of yourself right now, but don't forget that you have friends that can help you!
I think you may benefit from cutting yourself a break, often I feel down and it gets worse when I've all these commitments, projects, artpieces yadda yadda and it makes me feel worse I can't do them or don't want to do them anymore. Just try and take things easier, and count even small victories. At the worst of the low, I still think my day is a success if I'm out for something as small as twenty minutes, or if I got dressed while in, or made a bowl of cereal. These minor things build up, and give a sense of accomplishment. (Often other people don't see why these are important to someone feeling down.)

Just a thought!
That said, yea, I could probably make one for cheaper.. I'm just wondering if it's worth my time to find the specific leds they are using.
