Shuttle/Taxi From Midway to Hyatt MFF?
So yea, I goofed when picking my flights. Wanted to fly southwest to get into midway due to free bags and I'm bringing two bags. Didn't realize exactly how far midway was from o'hare. So now, I'm wondering about how I'm gonna get from Midway Airport to the Hyatt. Anyone have suggestions, or even want to pick a bat up? I will pay for gas of course!
I fly in via southwest on the 21st of november (thursday) at about 2:20pm

I cannot remember how much he paid for the taxi TO the Hyatt, but I remember paying about 70-80 FROM the Hyatt to Midway when we left. :I Best to save money on things like that!
Gonna be visiting a buddy in Milwaukee for the first half of week this year, then riding up with him on Thursday, though. Gonna save us some monies! :D
This is my route that I take every year. I get off of the train and exit the station towards Clinton (or something like that) road, and turn left to go to the metro. Then I just take that all the way to the Hyatt, exit that station and walk the quarter or half mile to the hotel. The MFF website should have a map and these directions on there as well.
Bats gotta look out for bats.
I am a Chicagoan and I know how to get to where you need!
Now taxis...are expensive as hell would not recommend. Don't know much about shuttle buses but there is one to get to Rosemont. HOWEVER LISTEN UP TO WHAT I AM GONNA TELL YA.
Ok I suggest using public transportation for this. Both airports are connected by two train lines, the blue and orange line.
Midway is Orange, O'Hare is blue. So, I suggest taking the orange line train downtown to a stop where you can transfer to the blue line. Then take the blue line heading to O'Hare and ride it until you get to the Rosemont stop. This stop directly leads to the hotel district where the Hyatt Regency is. Now I am guessing this is where the shuttle bus comes in but I do not know much about it so it might take a bit of research. It is a bit of a walk to the hotel if you decide not to take a shuttle bus but it's an easy path.
As to how the public transportation works, ask an employee to explain it needed. The fares are $2.25 for the first ride, and if you get onto another bus/train run by the CTA within two hours of your last ride you get charged 80 cents.
if you want to get to know the stops for these two train lines, here are the links below. they will give you lots of information.

It is a hell of a lot easier and cheaper to use the public transportation here, trust me, I live in Chicago.
I hope you find this helpful!
it's never taken me that long before. but hey, its just an option.
the orange line can be a bit slow but the blue line is really fast.
