Just putting stuff here 'cause I haven't updated this journal in a while. Lets see, not much going on lately. Just got back from a trip to Prince George, BC. Picked up an Xbox 360 Elite and a copy of Fallout 3. At the EB games I went to, though, they sold me a Holiday Bundle 360 Elite but it didn't work. As soon as I turned it on, it made a loud grinding noise and the disc tray didn't open. Took it back and asked to test another one in the store and the same thing happened to another holiday bundle system. Tested a regular 360 elite and it worked. According to the guy at the register, his whole batch of 360 Elite Holiday Bundles were bad. Well, got a working one now but Fallout 3 is pissing me off. Was working on the Big Town quest and it's bugged. They asked me to go to the junkyard and fix their robots there, but there are no robots in the junkyard, great. Now I need to buy a wireless adapter so I can connect to Xbox Live so I can get a damned patch.

Remember when consoles just WORKED? When the reason you bought a console was because you were never sure if your PC was going to be able to play the latest game? When you could laugh at PC gamers for having to deal with glitches and patches? Boy, THOSE were the days.

OP
Yeah, I miss those days. Now consoles are basically the same as computers, but a bit less. Because now they can patch, download, etc...
