1. Why did you join FurAffinity?

Like many other artists here, I was looking for a place to post my more adult artwork that isn't allowed on DA. Also, I've always been a fan of furry art, if not the best supplier of it, so it worked out great. I've discovered so many great new artists and characters here. :D

2. What does your username have to do with you?

When I first got into the whole drawing of nekkid womens and considered posting them online I came up with the concept B.A.W. Beautiful Animated Women. When I joined my first online art community, the jabcomix forums, I chose BAW as my screen name. I added the Darth title at the last minute almost as an afterthought. Who'd have guessed it would have evolved into a full blown persona for myself.

3. What is your current avatar of?

My character, Darth-BAW, as drawn by my amazing and wonderful friend, Enigmawing. :D

4. How many watchers do you have, and how many do you watch?

I have 87 watchers and I'm watching 90. Less of a gap there than I was expecting. :D

5. Do you have more than one account?

Not on the same site, no. I have a gallery here and at DA, a tumblr, and my membership in the jabcomix forums. I post things all over the place, but I try to post everything I'm allowed at all my galleries.

6. Name 3 of your favorite artists on FA.

Oooh, hard to narrow them down. I suppose the big three would be

7. What artist do you admire because of their personality?

I hate to say that I don't have enough time online these days to really get to know artists well enough to know their personalities. I mean, I admire some of them for their ideas and concepts. Others for their sense of humor. Some come across as overly sensitive, while others seem distant and unrelateable.

8. Do you comment, fave, or both?

I try to do both, but I do more faving than commenting, but only because I don't comment unless I have something more to say about the piece than "awesome work." The fact that I faved the piece says that for me, so I see no reason to say it again in a comment.

9. What do you typically post on FA?

A mix of things, but I'm a freely admitted pornographer by trade, so that tends to take up the bulk of my gallery. I have plenty of SFW pieces though, so don't let all the dirty bits scare you off.

10.What's your favorite submission in your gallery?

11. What are the things you wish you could draw better?

The things that tend to give all artists trouble. Backgrounds, furniture, machinery, and realism.

12. How many hours a day do you spend on FA?

I work nights and don't have home internet access, and this site tends to be filtered on most library wifi systems, so it's really a matter of how many hours a month, which is rarely over 4 or 5 at the most. :(

13. Are you a fast, slow, or medium typer?

I'd say I'm a fast typer. Not VERY fast, but pretty fast.

14. What is the most annoying thing people ask you?

I don't really get asked a lot of questions. :/

15. What is the most annoying/offending comment you've received?

OH! OH!!! The most ANNOYING thing is when people either don't like or don't get my work or my concept, or even my description and they just comment "What?" or some terrible misspelling of the same. I don't get it and it makes no sense to even bother commenting on something you don't like if you're not going to say something constructive, critical, or at the very least mean.


16. What/who inspires you?

My friends and the artists I enjoy have always been the biggest inspirations for most of my work. I have my own OC's and universes in which they live, but I love to do work featuring people I know and their characters because everyone loves fan art and to see their characters appreciated. :)


17. Everyone has considered leaving FA once or twice. Have you? Why?

No, not once. It's nice to get watches and faves and comments. It makes me feel good to know that people like and appreciate my work, but more than anything else this is a hobby for me. Something cheap and fun I can do in my spare time to relax, have a good time, and express myself creatively and in an escapist, fantasy way. I'm not going to let anyone ruin this site or my work for me. If they don't like me that's their problem. No one is making them view my work or comment on it, and hating on people makes no sense because that's still just another form of appreciation.
