My laptop broke like a week ago (I'm typing from a different computer right now) and I had no idea why! I finally found out what the problem is (What happened is my laptop stopped charging properly while plugged in. The connection felt wobbly or loose, and I was told that the power jack broke inside the chassis.) and it's going to take $115 for the new part and to fix it. T_T
Unfortunately, I won't be able to work on commissions until it's fixed either. Once I take it in, it should take only about 3 days to fix. So, I would really appreciate donations for this!

If you're little technical and you have a soldering iron (Or have a friend who's technical with computers) you can fix this yourself simply by resoldering it. This of course only works if it's just a soldering that broke and not the actual piece itself.
115 dollar seems like a rather expensive estimate though.
