How about a few fun fish stories?
I'll give you and example to start with.

My Grandfather had a huge 6 foot fish tank that he couldn't look after so he decided to sell it and all the fish etc. As I was the one who always had to strip and clean it because he over fed them all the time I was delighted, less work for me. Grandfather had dementia and had forgotten about how much work his tank took and someone at a shop talked him into another fish tank. Thankfully it was only about a 2 foot tank. I got his phone call just before lunch and he asked could I come and do his fish. Not knowing at this time that he had purchased a new tank etc. I thought that he wanted me to cook him some fish for his lunch so I packed cooking kit, pan etc. and headed over there. Well laughter was great and I have never lived it down that I wanted to cook his three new goldfish. He wanted me to set up the tank and put the fish in not cook his lunch. We went out for fish chips after the tank was up and ready...his treat. He has gone now but that is our fun fish story and it always brings back a smile for me.

make it a weekly feature or fortnightly feature depending on how stories many come your way. If you only get one a month then a monthly feature. If you get a flood of stories then you might put 2 or 3 stories in one journal every month or fortnight. You need to ask your audience if they would care to participate and go for monthly until you get some nibbles on the line. *hugs*
