Appraisal Idea? What do you think?

So, I've had a concept for awhile to make a group of other artists/ buyers together who are willing to come together to help artists who need a brutally honest opinion about what their prices should be. It's easy to get an estimate from a friend but friends are more likely to tell you what you want.
I rarely know an artist who hasn't started out wondering what they should really be charging from an outside perspective for what they make. I'm hoping that perhaps I can get a group of cool folks together who would be willing to honestly and fairly give price estimates for the work people do, and not get hurt when they might have to be a bit critical. Hopefully if we go through with it though, the final say would be reviewed, anonymous, and completely to that artist's discretion to follow.
I could see this being helpful because not only would it help artists improve, it could also help to prevent many artists from underestimating their talent, and when artists undercharge for really good work it can bring prices down for every other artist as well.
What do you guys think?

Fully analyzing someones' work can take a lot of time, and financially there's no benefit to the person helping.
Everyone does have their own opinion on what they would buy and at what price which can lead to pricing issues. Some people like cartoony, some people don't.
There would very likely need to be a very well organized method to understanding how to price things- such as observing clean lines, artist's shading, ability with color theory, detail, and time it takes to complete. Stuff like that.
We would need a good group of people who are willing to come to a consensus with other deliberators' opinions, or accept that the average of all the opinions will be taken instead.
I think the biggest issue is the fact that there's no incentive. Then again, I could even see a voting system with randomized questions such as "Would you pay ___USD for this?" then having people answer yes or no until it zeroes in on a certain price. It might not only give you an idea of what your prices could be but how popular your art style is with people. Some people have a really specific/ specialized art style however, which might not bode well in a situation like that.
