IT'S TIME MY FRIENDS. The new Halloween tourney is upon us. One of the biggest tourneys this year. Compared to last years, there is going to be some slight changes to how the matches will take hold. Here are the rules so far as extended from last years.

During each round, you will be given a trick or treat that may benefit you or hinder you. These are given to all players at random. The following treats can include, new base starting life points, drawing extra cards, or the new destiny draw feature. Tricks are naughty and can hinder you, such as drop in base LP, monsters decrease in attack, or perhaps losing life points every time you loose a card. The intensity of these effects will increase as the rounds go on. Each trick and treat will be explained carefully so there is no confusion when using such things.

You will also be able to obtain points this time that you can use yo get special prizes from  syruswolfos outside the main prize from the page artist. They can include an icon, to a fully colored pic. So do save points. Though points can have another use too, like changing your trick or treat if you don't like it. Though you can only do that once per round and will be explained how currency will point out.

Any players can use any deck they want, but bonus points will be given when using a scary deck or something that fits the Halloween theme (ex : Dark world, worms, zombies, grave keepers, GHOST TRICK , archfiends etc. ) You are not limited to the same deck, and yes... GHOST TRICK archtype is allowed in this tourney, but a list will be made for such things.

LUTO BONUS~!
Yes, not only will :syruswolfos spectate: getting Luto bonuses will be easier and not as harsh. When he joins your duel to spectate, message him in any way to alert him if you feel like taking the match into another direction. Luto gives you an ADDITIONAL trick or treat. The intensity of the trick or treat will be decided by a coin toss. Heads treat, tails trick, and a single dice roll to determine how good or how harsh the trick or treat is. Players that win this Luto bonus is granted an instant prize. Though there is more... Syrus will also be entering the tourney, so players facing him may get this bonus if you're lucky. This is completely optional and does not need such things to complete the duel. Extra points for winning will be gained upon victory.

Find a partner for this special tourney~! The objective is to make it to the end of the tourney ( Last round ) With at least one of you standing. Some special rules will be handed out to balance such a tourney out.
One of the special rules to be added is this.

• Teams will be in pairs of two. Make sure you make decks around the ban list and try to formulate what restricted cards you will use. You are able to find said teammate till the deadline that will be listed in the next journal.

• You are free to challenge ANY member on that team. As long as you eliminate said team regaurdless of who challenge who. The winning team will be set onto the next round.

• The duel will be match duel.

• Decks CANNOT be changed in this tourney cause of counter picking reasons. So use the same deck you enter with. When you post a win in the first round, for example. ( Blackwings vs Nordic 2-0 ) Those players would have to use those themed decks till the end of the event. You may infact use a side deck between duels but CANNOT change the main deck unless it contains OCG cards.

• TCG ONLY please. The tourney is in fact TCG only, and no OCG cards are allowed. If you're not sure about what are ocg/tcg, please check the yugioh-card.com site for legal cards to the TCG.

• Cheating and trash talking, is NOT allowed. So please if you have nothing good to say in or OUTSIDE of the duel that even shows up on this journal or page alone, there will be warnings given.

• The event will be converted to round plays

Special Rules~!

• Limited Cards are counted per team and not per Duelist. So, for any given Limited Card, each team could include 1 copy in either Duelist Deck, making a total of 1 copy that team can use.

• Semi-Limited Cards are counted per team and per Duelist. So for any given Semi-Limited Card, each team could include 2 copies in any combination between the team’s Decks (Example: Duelist A can run 2 copies of Mirror Force, but Duelist B cannot run any copies. If Duelist A runs 1 copy of Mirror Force, Duelist B can run a copy as well, for a team maximum of 2 copies).

• Both Duelists on a team can have up to 3 copies of a card that is not on the Forbidden and Limited list. (Example: Both Duelists on a team may each run 3 copies of Mystic Tomato, for a total of 6 copies amongst the team).

BANNED~!!

Final countdown and any other instant winning cards are banned. ( ex Venomminaga )

All forms of burn decks are banned but burn cards are allowed none the less.
