You know, I've heard there's talk about banning all the 'cub' art on FA lately. I would like to say right now, that you've gotta be kidding me. I will admit, I personally like diaperfur/babyfur art. So sue me. I know this does not make me the most popular fur on the planet. Meh. I like it, I won't force it on anywho who doesn't, so I don't see the problem. If you like something, and you aren't going to force everyone within 50 miles to watch or like it too, what's issue? And on that note, why outright ban a subject? As several other folks, JeffKun and Scappo included, have suggested, just add filters. Best of both worlds.
Of course, if a ban does go thorugh, you have to wonder what sort of floodgates such a thing would open up? I mean, some phychologists would say anyone who draws anything can could remotely be called 'cubporn' is going to rape a child. Bullshit, but oh well.
Of course, because of the opinion of these shrinks, such material is made illegal. Now in my mind, that removes the SAFE way to vent such feelings for the people who like that, until eventually they pop. The rule of chastity for Catholic priests in an excellent example of people without a healthy way to express inner needs or desires 'popping'.
Now, by that same token, does that mean that everyone who draws scat art will poop on someone? Or everyone that draws guro art will rip apart a victim and jerk off into the pool of blood? Or every last vore artist will eat their lovers alive?

Right now, the only reason that cubporn is suddenly being scrutinized is, as far as I can tell, popular opinion. And I bet there are just as many folks on FA that get squicked at guro as there are who get squicked at diapers.
So I ask the FA admins...If you ban cub art, where will potential subject bans stop? Or is the currently excellent community of artists going to begin falling down the same path of prejudice, bias and intolerace as Y!Gallery, DeviantArt and Yahoo Groups?

Im sorry that this is happening. and I'm feeling very torn as to what side i want to choose. I have you as a good friend. and a few others. But i was a victim of childhood sexual misconduct by an elder family member. so It honestly does make me feel very awful to see images of cubs with adults or cubs and cubs. I wish it were a black and white matter, but i cant let it be as simple as that.
I have nothing wrong with babyfurs, as wanting to be treated as an infant, diapers or bottle feeding and whatnot. The only thing that bothers me is a cub child or such with spooge all over their face ass or otherwise. or cub furs doing lewd or adult things. I'm quite open minded and I try to put myself in the place of another person and mentally figure out what the appeal of a certain fetish is. But if i try to do that with cub porn it just brings back many many bad memories for me. I hope you understand where I'm comming from Sweety, that im not trying to attack you. I support you and the cub furs...just not the cub fur porn.
Cubs are cute, and sweet, and lovable and you wanna just snuggle them all up. Until someone slaps a dick in their face. Then i just want to cry.
I love you i truly do Kaar. And i hope everything turns out okay, I wouldnt want to see all the cub fur pictures banned, but i do feel that the pornography, sexual and adult material based cub pictures, sadly, cannot be kept on this archive.
Maybe I should clarify though. I don't like cubsex either, no matter what the age difference in between the participants. I'm more annoyed at the idea behind the ban. That, and it could carry over to just all the cub art, mature or tame.
I do agree though, sad cubs covered in spoo is no fun.
