AMEN TO THAT!!! i for one, am pissed that people keep using the "sanctity of marriage" argument. it's dumb, and the fact is, half the hetero couples that get married these days GET DIVORCED.

there was a study done a while back, that actually showed that 98% of homosexual couples had a healthier relationship than the average heterosexual one. methinks i smell hypocrisy in the air...

That rather sux. The government is not supposed to dictate who we can marry in our lives because everyone has the right to love. THe government doesn't tell us how we should feel, that is communism in and of itself.

i wont be online tonight i have work but right now i am so sad i am crying irl and this deeply hurts me cause for all my speaking out for no on 8 heteros especially church goers are laughing in my face and one spit on me. So i might not be reaqchable for a few days.

It is sad.. more than that its sad the the church is less powerful today than it has been in the past truthfully. Funny how Christ tried to teach 'Love thy Neighbor' and 'forgiveness' but church goers are hell bent on prosecution and damnation, few places have I seen so much hate.

The core of issues like this is. Who does it hurt if I love a man? No one.. so why must these fanatics force their veiws on others? It doesnt change a single thing for them, their lives wont change either way yet they have to stick their damned nose in others business.

Life is a varied kettle of fish. Just a shame that some want to interfere with others so much. I'm sick of politics and sick of fundamentalists (there is a reason that the word, mentalists is in that word) trying to make sure that people don't just obey every rule that's past but make sure every single part of people's lives are effected.

Last time I checked, gay marriage is something that doesn't effect a quite large amount of the population in California. Why should people there be so bothered about it and be asked to view their opinions? Also don't people find it a bit ironic that this law was passed there when San Francisco is the home of the Gay Rights organisation?

Also can anyone say discrimination? I understand Cali is a deeply conservative area but would they be so willing to pass a law that doesn't allow black people to marry? In the modern climate, I doubt it some how.

I lose more hope for the world every day.

Marriage is a conjoining of 2 bodies, no matter who, in an act of love. Sex doesn't matter. Is it in the definition, the actual definition and not the bullshit homophobes? I myself am Bi and I am proud to play for both sides of the field, everyone was born the same way. so you know what, fuck you government.
