WOOOOOO!!!!! I am *FINALLY* back to California!
It's been an exceedingly long year in the great asshole of the world (Egypt).
And I will mark this as my six month anniversary of having known of FA. I first found this great site when I was on a trip to Eilat, Israel. The hotel I stayed at had the best internet connection that I knew that year, and I stayed put in the lobby for upwards of 8 hours at a time, having food and drink brought to me. I did get a chance to go snorkeling in the beach in front of the place. IMHO, the better place to snorkel was the beach on post, on the southern tip of the Sinai peninsula where I was for the year.
By the end of this week, I will have my website back up and running, and on it I will have a photo gallery (real and personal photos only, not artwork (that belongs here ;) ) I took a lot of pictures there. I have some good pictures of the sunrise/sets, town, the mountains, the road, other vehicles, Jerusalem, etc.
I'll upload a few here now that I'm on a decent connection!!
