Do I believe in the Jedi?
If you mean do I acknowledge their existence, then yes, of course. Our planet isn't as remote as some might think, and we've had a few Jedi stop in for ship repairs or just a night's rest, now and then.
If you mean to ask if I believe in their cause, if I believe that they are right to do as they do, then the answer gets tricky.
I've only ever heard of a few, and met only two. They were well-spoken, even kind, though I got the feeling that they felt this place, this planet, was nothing to trouble themselves with, nothing to grow attached to.
And I never could understand how anyone could take a vow of celibacy for the rest of their lives... Okay, that's not quite right, but if you're not allowed to feel something for the one you're lying with, then what's the point?
