I'd say Dark Samus wins on a very slight margin, haha. Though the SA-Xs would have the outnumbering factor to them...maybe if the Dark Samus somehow multiplied itself. Maybe. :3

mmm tuff one... but I think Dark Samus would win since it has phazon based powers... the X Virus might not survive the radiation. Or maybe it would. The thing is that SA-X copied Samus's moves and almost everything... so if Samus beats Dark Samus, maybe SA-X could use a similar strategy. It's a maybe... since the SA-X wasn't able to defeat the Omega metroid... maybe they are just shooting machines with no imagination. I'd bet for Dark Samus

It's been a long while since I've seen Dark Samus, so I may have forgotten the things it can do, but I'm going with Dark Samus.

The SA-X is basically the full you from Super Metroid, minus the hyper beam and gravity suit. So, pretty dang powerful. But just like any X, it's weak against Metroid, being its natural prey. Just a handful of baby /young metroids were able to subdue the SA-X for a while. And when facing the Omega Metriod, it was quickly dispatched of. It was weak and all after the battle with Samus, but as has been shown, X can recover quickly. So I think that even at full strength and with the ice beam, it would have had trouble trying to fight the Omega metroid.

Dark Samus is not only a copy of Samus, but is infused with phazon. And I think was also part metroid? It's been a very long time...

Metroids are the natural predator of the X. Considering Dark Samus' origin as Metroid Prime, Dark Samus would be the obvious candidate. That being said, SA-X has Ice Beam. Samus never faced Dark Samus with an Ice Beam or Ice Missile. Considering now that there are more SA-X than Dark Samus, I would give it to SA-X. That is, if Dark Samus didn't regenerate. Every time in Echoes that DS was destroyed, it came back, and it came back having absorbed more phazon, thus making it an even stronger version of itself. Dark Samus would win this one.

Dark Samus wins hands down no dice for SA-X

Dark Samus is Metroid Prime's incarnation plus Dark Samus has Phazon.


SA-X is just a X parasite and they are prey to the Metroids.
