Does any one know of an alternative to SAI?

My old license does not work on my new computer. I checked their website, and now it costs 50 USD for a singular license. That is an okay price, but I do not draw very often. I liked SAI because you can sort of trace your sketches more smoothly, where in Photoshop my lines would come out jagged. So, does anyone know of a free or cheap alternative that can do that?
In case of photos Photoshop (Adobe), PhotoPaint (Corel), Gimp are nice ones.
But for paint Corel Painter and ArtRage. Well Corel Painter crashes a lot at moment with me but I have a old X version in Windows 7.
I bought Artrage in Steam in a promo for 50% during last USA holidays.
I don't know about SketchBook, but I plan to buy after test new with ArtRage 4, with big sizes A3 300 dpi.

In case you use Android or iOS Tablet. Have a pile of free program and cheap one from very know companies.
