Been awhile since the journals been updated. Been meaning to get around but ever since school started it's been a little hectic! So to make up for it, I have a collection of dance videos for you from last month and THIS WEEK!

First off, featuring our very own fandom's well-known fursuit dancer  doryuu in his video that he posted in August. If you haven't checked it out, please do so! This is a wonderful example of level change and flow to the tune of the music.

Second, we have a video of Koharu Sugawara. A phenomenal dancer who is able to incorporate sharp hits, soft hits, her dance in this video is rich with texture. More jazzy, hiphop-ish, contemp, hard to really put this under a genre since it has many different elements.

Third, a REAL treat! Here we have SWING AND TAP +MORE! To the song BANG BANG BAAAAAAANG! One of my very favorites! This video has amazing performance qualities! Devon Perri choreagraphed this one.

The Rookies are a crew that share a message that I think all dancers should know. The idea of constantly being the student and always learning no matter what level you are at. Pretty inspirational stuff.

Vihn Nguyen's r+b choreography feat. other dancers such as Keone Madrid. This choreo is rich with musicality. If you listen carefully they will hit not just obvious beats but subtle sounds and also dance to the lyrics. Texture here is also rich, rich, riiiich.
