Secret spilling time, lol. Well, before I started doing anything I was researching and reading/watching lots of tutorials and forum posts on fursuit/costume making. For months lol. But the tutorials that I've found the most helpful for each area by far are as follows:
Head:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2p-UFSCqyio
Even though this shows toony styled, it can still be applied to realistic. At [4:22] in the video where they are holding up the sewen-together 'skin' of the face? That reminds me of a pelt, like in taxidermy (which I've previously dabbled in/studied a lot).
Hand Paws:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2p-UFSCqyio
This two-part tutorial from Tsebresos is my favorite. In fact, it's actually pretty similar to the above tutorial for head furring if you think about it. ^^; The main thing that I did different from them is the way I did the paw-pads, which I didn't use any tutorial for. I also used well-fitting batter's gloves as a base because they fit my hand better than any other gloves I can find.
Feet paws:http://th00.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE.....sa-d49lojn.jpg
For this one, even though I'm sure I had seen lots of tutorials in the past, when I threw mine together, I just sort of made them without following any existing tutorials too closely. However, I still need to finish the bottoms of them for durability. Might even make some sandals depending on how durable I feel they are. The link I put tho is pretty close to how I did construct the foam work more or less.
Tail:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgOCVyBgjaA
When I did the tail, I wanted to do an articulated one controled by wires/strings. I eventually scrapped the idea of tugging strings to make it move (partly because one of the inner cords came loose after I furred the damn thing heh), but the way the interior was done still gives it a nice movement when I 'wag' it. XD Above tutorial is pretty much how i did it.

That's about all I can think of....
