I know someone who lives in Australia. Which side are you thinking of moving to?

i was thinking about.. maybe Melbourne? but i seriously know 0 people from there so i guess any city would be fine, but more on the east side :)
need some info about prices/salaries etc mainly, want to know if i will be able to survive there

i dont know about differences between west/east .. so no clue? I really just want to go to -Australia- dont have any clear idea where exactly. No matter which side i choose, its still gonna be another side of the world.
