I made a mistake this week that got me a $130 ticket but I'm pretty sure this guy is way worse off than that...

What happened? We all make mistakes but theres a big difference between making a mistake and being stupid.

Well, I'll give you the short version of it. I missed the truck entrance to the customer, tried to get turned around, blindly listened to the gps telling me to make a left that I was too big for, tore up some guy's front lawn while getting stuck on the edge of the road up to my wheel nuts :/

$130 ticket from the sheriff payable to the state of Ohio
$425 for the tow (not sure if the company will take that out of my pay)
Unknown property damage to the guy's yard, especially since there was apparently a weeping tile system where I got stuck.

No damage to the truck or trailer though, so I'm pretty sure I'm better off than that guy in the video

Much better off yes. Like I said, we all make mistakes. Something similar happened to me a couple years ago. But what that guy did was just stupidity.

What is the charge on the ticket? Careless/reckless driving? You should get an attorney and try to get it reduced so it doesn't go against your license as points.

He put it down as failure to control and told me it's a misdemeanor charge. Not too sure how this will affect my license in Canada though
