Goodness. I haven't updated this bastard in 10 months. Where did 2013 go? D:
Oh yeah, that's right. I got a job in the games industry again. For Capcom, this time, doing art and animation in the middle of London. Aaaaaaand that's been pretty much my entire life up until now. Been living hand-to-mouth while the economic turbulence in my bank settles down after the rent and deposit money levels out with my paychecks. However, things are going much smoother now. The game I'm working on (which I'm not at liberty to talk about ((yet)) ), will be out by the end of the year, and I will rest much easier when the base assets are done.
As you may have guessed, full-time employment has all-but-KILLED my free time, and time that I would usually spend doing commissions. I can still do small sketches in the evenings when I get home from work, but nothing majorly detailed (which is what I love doing.) However, once I have a gap in my schedule, I will be able to pick up doing big painted commissions for folks again. It's something I really miss doing, and hope to be able to do again once I'm not too busy to give it the time it deserves.
Oh, and my GF Shadow has moved in with me now, and is starting her career in the wonderful world of freelance art. She is a sweet traditional artist and has a bit of time to herself at the moment, so go check out her work and maybe ask her for a commission. -
So yeah, just a quick update to let you furry folks know what I'm up to, and to eliminate the rumor of my death by giant alien blade-monster. That never happened. Do not believe the lies.
