Rabbit Valley Update - New Stuff Available!
Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you know, I've uploaded my more recent pictures to Rabbit Valley here:
http://www.rabbitvalley.com/departm.....779_0_1_1.html
So now you can get high-quality prints up to 24" x 36" (that's a whole 2 feet by 3 feet!) poster size of my latest and, if I do say so myself, much improved artwork. That includes the Tournee de la Chatte Nue, Tawni, the red panda, dancing fox, my character pole dancing and getting pegged on the couch, and... Hashi eating sushi. You know you want it...
I'm much happier with my new stuff, by the way. I don't know why, but when I take a break from art for a while, I come back with a massive improvement. It's like I get stuck in a rut and slowly degrade, but when I come back with fresh eyes and unlearn everything, I get better automagically... I don't get it either.
But anyways.
BUY ART!

The more we learn about human attention, the more limited it seems. Overtime binges lead to bursts of output that exert a hangover effect in later days. Study after study indicates that short bursts of attention punctuated with equally deliberate breaks are the surest way to harness our full capacity to be productive.
I've noticed this effect on myself when I was in bowling leagues. Most leagues shut down during the summer, creating a forced 4 to 5 month break. While not bowling much at all over the summer (maybe once a month at most), I usually noticed a much improved average at the start of each year. In fact, one year my starting average jumped 12 pins over my ending average of the prior year. It would seem such would apply to art as well, which would explain your improved abilities after a hiatus.
