Furfright - are you generally excited, apprehensive, downright scared, overjoyed or a combination of all?

Well halfway through my acting class I felt like I had just eaten a questionable chicken sandwich- like my stomach was upset and I had to run to the bathroom. If I had to attend my economics class as scheduled regularly I would have been sweating too much to focus on the test, but it wound up being a take-away so I could run back to the dorm and relax. Got my badges laminated today at the print shop and I could swear I heard the three girls who worked there giggling about them. Heard some rumors about FF and some big downsides, that was discouraging, and need to talk to my folks later about picking me up from school so I can get home and grab the car, which I'm not looking forward to...

I'm excited to see my friends but I'm nervous for just about every single other aspect, if that helps.

You know, looking back on my first con I'm amazed I had the guts to go through with it. I traveled alone, flying 3000 across the Atlantic to New York, then going to Penn Station to continue the journey by train. I was okay getting on the plane, and I was okay landing at JFK airport, but when the cab left me at Penn station with skyscrapers all around and the hustle and bustle of the Manhattan crowds, I suddenly turned into a blubbering mess of "What was I thinking??!!"
What was I doing so far from home, going to meet people I'd only ever spoken with online?
I survived, I got to Philadelphia for AC and I had a great time. Took a bit of bravery to go through with it but you know what? Best descision I ever made.
And a few years from now you'll think the same thing about your trip.

I know I'll have fun, and I know I'll have good memories. But until they're in swing, well... can't really say the thought's putting me at ease too much.

I had to take my plants in today. Frost got the rest. Winter is coming. Can ducks pull sleighs?

We tied a record high of 90 Sunday.

Not very well, though if you're looking for hired help I suggest the next pond. Or a long walk off a short bridge.

I won't be going to Midwest Furfest this year even though I'm an hour away from the place but there is a small possibility I'll be going to Anthrocon next year.

Right now just trying find a job. Really hoping on this shot at a spot in Barnes and Nobles and hoping to move in with my boyfriend and Chance the Dragon up in Seattle, loved the place after visiting for my first con. I heard you're going to your first, any plans in particular?

Just hanging out with the friends I'm meeting there and trying not to panic, mostly. You know, the usual weekend plans, just with a bit more driving.

I got my first ipod! It's a fourth generation ipod shuffle. I got three songs on it, but I am unable to get any more and trying to figure out why. Also, Mom got a song on it, but deleted the first two songs. Was able to recover one song, but sadly, the other is lost.

I dunno. I'm uncharacteristically worried lately. Seattle's getting radiation runoff from Fukushima and it's polluting our waters and making our fish unsafe to eat. We're kind of in trouble over here.

Come to the east coast! We have tons of fish and also I'm here! You can eat all the fish since I don't like them.
