So, I've been pretty none post-y lately. Or, actually, for most of the time I've been here. I know, I should post more, thing is, I don't have a scanner. I haven't had one since mine died about a year and a half ago. It was pretty unreliable before that, too. The nbot having a scanner thing was okay, for a while, 'cause they have scanners at school. But, I've been taking online classes this quarter, and have only gone to school once...

Then there's the fact that the first time I tried to use my laptop after RainFurrest, I discover that the screen has magically died. YAY! So, I have a new one now, it's a shiny widescreen Acer. But, I don't have any of the stuff from my old comp, like some pics that I needed to clean-up and post. Or Photoshop and OpenCanvas.... DX Or, well, a good number of stuff that makes life difficult not having.

This is why I have resorted to using the built-in webcam and the crappy tools in Windows Photo Gallery. But, I have a few serious stuff I'd love to post, but the current situation makes it difficult. I know I can go to the local Fry's and get a scanner for $50+tax, but I don't know how good it'd be, so I'm looking for some recommedations, if only for a perticular brand. I'm thinking of asking for a scanner, or the money for one for christmas, but I'd like to have something particular in mind, so I don't end up with the same thing as what happened with my last scanner. ((It was on clearance, a no-name brand, and was nothing but trouble))

As for life, not much going on. Work makes me unable to go to meets, as I work EVERY saturday and sunday. I like the job itself, but the hours suck royally.

Also, been sick for 2+ weeks now, and I'm hoping I'm finally getting over it. It sucks have a sore throat everyday for more than, like, a day.... I hate sore throats, 'cause then I can't sing, can't talk much, and it hurts to drink citrus-y things, which are my fav.... ;.;
