Beat by a little kid
So, I was hanging out at my friend's house and a girl came by with her little kid. This kid was full of life and energy. The kid found a balloon and played with it like crazy. He threw the balloon at me and I played catch with him for like, two hours 'till I became sick of it. When I didn't want to play catch with him any more, he looked at me like I had let him down. I felt really bad about not thinking about some new way to play catch.
I felt like I had failed. My creativity was not greater than his energy.
I got beat by a little kid.

No you didn't fail. If you had enough, you had enough... that's all.

Children are still learning about limits, particularly young ones, energy or otherwise. There is no failure in a lesson learned and if you played that long here is a child that may well sleep better for the time you took and a mother blessed by a peaceful night because of it. *hugs*

aging time will always be upon us and we shall always have that moment in our lives when we can think of anything else creative for someone else in our lives or even ourselves but we shall always have the memories of our childhoods with us and how creative we where then
