Decided to move this from the artist profile to a journal

General
So I learned about the furry fandom when I was 15 years old through the magic of the internet, and ever since then I've been an observer, but not a participant.
The type of people I usually call my friends are kind of on the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to anything like this or the lifestyle I wish to pursue, so I've been deathly afraid of letting anyone I know in real life find out about it.
But thanks to a good friend (NoxiWox), I've been slowly coming out of my shell. Well, on the internet at least.
I eventually want to attend a convention and be more proactive in the fandom.
But it may take some time before I feel comfortable with it. Hopefully I'll make some real friends along the way.

As for participating, going to cons is just a one of so many aspects of furs. Draw pics, write stories, share opinions - it's all part of participating and sharing in this community. :)
