So, what's actually been going on with me? Surprisingly, a lot.
I've mostly been catching up with classes; as-is, I've got about three weeks to get my act together completely in one class, less time for the other two. Still, won't be too terribly difficult.
I've also been working on those commissions mentioned at the bottom of my journal; I think I'll be able to finish the story by the end of the weekend, while the costume will probably take until roughly the end of the year what with classes, work, travel, etc.
However, I think I'll be able to deliver that one in person, seeing as I'm all but verified to be attending Further Confusion -- as a panelist! The founder of the con approached me a few days ago with the offer, and, while I've not officially accepted yet, I intend to once I get everything straightened out (likely by Friday). But yeah, this is a huge deal for me; I'm still all bouncy about it. ^^;

As of right now, I'm not too sure; however, I think I might do one on character design and one on world building. I'm still contemplating all that.

Speaking of homework and talking at cons ... I am also bogged down with homework and trying to prepare a talk for a conference, on a rather different topic though (and hence why I am taking a quick break to check FA instead of going to bed). I leave for the conference this weekend, so I wouldn't notice the difference between the story being done this weekend or a week later when I get back. Not that there is any rush for the story on my end.
