Helloooooo Runescapers!


I'm Feral FurE, I'm a new admin of this Runescape Furs Fur Affinity group and an admin of the Runescape clan Furry Menagerie, the largest furry clan in the game (constantly pushing full capacity at 496-ish members!), my Runescape screen name is "Earth Pony.” I'm here to renovate and revive this Furaffinity group. I've seen far too many people post shouts and notes and on the journals about how they want to meet or hang out with or find other furs in the game, but I haven't seen any mention of any specific gathering place for furry Runescapers and that's what I want to change.


Furry Menagerie is absolutely massive, and especially considering how many people don't know of the clan but want to find, socialize, and chat with other furry Runescapers, Furry Menagerie is really the best place for a starting point.


We are a very chill and casual community and clan, but despite this, we still must conform to the rules of Runescape put in by Jagex directly so there are a few rules that we ask our clan members to follow, they're very simple and easy to follow rules:


1: Use common sense! If you are at any point thinking "Should I be doing this?" The answer is probably not! We want to keep the clan cool and fun for all, we would like to avoid drama as much as possible.
2: No NSFW/explicit talk in the chat. Specifically dealing with yiff; due to an agreement we have with Jagex (if we didn't have this agreement and this important rule, Jagex would have shut down our clan a long time ago) we cannot discuss yiff in the clan chat AT ALL.
3: Contact information. For the safety of everyone, please don't share contact information, it's a general Runescape rule but we stress this because we want everyone to stay safe and not unnecessarily endanger themselves, but still have fun.
4: Advertising websites. Again, for the safety of everyone, PLEASE do not advertise any websites or discuss anything not Jagex endorsed/approved. We really don't want people's computers getting infected with any sort of malware, no one likes malware.
5: Have dignity and respect! A very big part to getting along with others and especially with having fun, is to respect others as you would like them respect you. The golden rule pretty much! We want everyone to have fun, but we all can't if there's someone who just decides to rain on everyone else’s parades. Also quite important and on the same subject, remember to have enough dignity to not do anything you'll regret later on! We are all only human (or furry) and will certainly make mistakes sometimes, but try as hard as you can to keep it to a minimum so everyone can have as much fun as possible!
6: Keep the drama to an absolute minimum! How can anyone have fun if drama llamas are stampeeding the clan chat? If there is ever a serious problem with anything or anyone, especially involving the clan or any of its members, please contact an admin about it, they can help you to the best of their ability and it’ll save exposure to the rest of the clan.
7: Respect the admins! We want to keep things fun for all, sometimes we will have to reign in the clan chat a bit. So to save everyone a lot of trouble and further drama, please don't be a rebel and refuse to follow when an admin says to drop a subject or stop arguing, it's not going to get you anywhere except much, much lower on the respect list.


All in all, the easiest way to connect with other furry Runescapers is through Furry Menagerie, there are a huge amount of clan members, a lot of them have also seen this Fur Affinity group, but we hope to unite all furries into one giant community where everyone can meet and get to know everyone.


You can join the clan chat as a guest by navigating your way to the clan tab/window in-game. The same way you would find your friend chat and friends list, you can find the clan list on the 8 button ribbon bar under the green and yellow hooded people and the last button of a yellow hooded guy with a gear cog next to him. This will bring up the clan tab list, from which you can click on the green circle button in the bottom right in between the yellow and red circle buttons to bring up the guest chat list. Click on the circle with the arrow pointing upwards or into the circle in the bottom left corner of the clan window and you should be able to type in the clan name you would like to join as a guest. Once inside, say hai or introduce yourself! We don’t bite (a little nibble maybe, we are furries of course x3). If you can’t find your way in, feel free to leave a comment on this journal and we’ll try and assist you in finding it.


Feel free to join us or poke your head in at any time, we are just a giant community, the biggest gathering place for furry Runescapers and for those of you who want to find and meet other furs and have tons of fun along the way, Furry Menagerie is the best place to start!
