^.^ If you can read this, you deserve a cookie ^.^Okay, so I'm a big fan of good covers, and this... this really grew on me after a friend introduced me to Andrew Denton's Tripple-M Musical Challenges. This is a series where Denton would challenge musicians to cover a song that was of a style or content not normally associated with the artist. Rolf Harris' cover of the Divinyl's hit, I Touch Myself was... odd and hilarious.
Nothing fancy here, just the original, followed by the cover in question. The original is Puddle of Mudd's hit, Control. And yes, this charted to no.1 in the Australia, Europe, U.K. and the U.S. and (apparently) was the theme song for the 2001 WWF Survivor Series.
It's covered by Adam Brand, and Australian Country singer who has charted well here in Oz. Well, in the Country charts, any way. So if you've never heard of him, don't feel bad. This was the first I'd heard of him too.
